History
Under the approval of the Wisconsin Amateur Hockey Association, (WAHA), the WEHL was founded in 2006 to provide upper-level high school players the opportunity to further develop their skills and compete regionally against like talented players, be cost competitive, minimize travel, and allow high school athletes to compete for their high school in fall sports. The goal of the WEHL is to develop and prepare players for their upcoming high school seasons.

2020 - Cancelled due to Covid
2021- High School Southeast ; High School Western - Runner Up
2022- 14U Western ; 16U South Central ; High School NC/NE ; High School Western

2024- High School Southeast
2025- 14U Western; 16U Western ; High School Southwest ; High School Western
